1. Markus Howard (Marquette, Sr.) ~ 27.8 PPG, 42.2 FG%, 41.2 3P FG%
There is something about Marquette and producing bucket-getters. In his senior season, Markus Howard showed out on another level. As the nation’s leading scorer, the Golden Eagle has been able to hit on all areas of the floor.
Howard made 121 3-points (first in the country) and while his shooting percentages might not rival some of the other players on this list, his ability to shoot the ball so consistently (considering his volume) is quite impressive.
The fact that Howard was the nation’s leading scorer, while still shooting above 40 percent from 3-point range has to count for something. Depending on how the next few months play out, Howard could be a late-first or early-second round draft pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.
