Projecting the best team fits for each of the top 10 NBA Draft prospects from the 2020 class.
The NBA might be in a 30-day hiatus due to the COVID-19 concerns around the country, but, at least for the time being, the likelihood is that the 2020 NBA Draft will happen at some point over the next few months.
Even though there’s no NCAA Tournament this year, there’s still plenty to talk about regarding this year’s NBA Draft prospects. For many of them, they will be preparing for pre-draft visits and workouts and, hopefully, the draft combine in the coming months.
Utilizing ESPN’s big board, we’ll go player-by-player and find the best overall team fit for each of the prospects. A few things that we’ll keep in mind when making these assessments are a team’s area of need, scheme, and potential free-agent targets heading into the offseason. Also, keep in mind, each of these players will likely be taken in the lottery, so most of these team fits will pertain to teams in the lottery.
