Best fit: Phoenix Suns

The Phoenix Suns have been in the market for a point guard ever seen the team elected to trade away Eric Bledsoe and Goran Dragic – and no, Ricky Rubio isn’t the long-term answer for the team at the position. At the draft, with a projected top 10 pick, the Suns will finally have the chance to address that. And one potential fit is Tyrese Maxey.

Maxey is a 6-foot-3 lead guard out of Kentucky that averaged 14 points, four rebounds, and three assists during his freshman season with the Wildcats. The thing with Maxey is that he has shown potential to be a great playmaker, but hasn’t done it enough at a consistent level thus far.

As is the case for many players on this list, the Suns would be taking a bit of a gamble with Maxey here in the top 10. But the potential is there for Maxey to transform into a starting point guard at the NBA level.
