1. James Wiseman, center, Memphis

James Wiseman was the consensus No. 1 college recruit coming out of Memphis, Tennessee, and although his college career lasted a mere three games (before he was deemed ineligible by the NCAA), he showed an abundance of potential for what his pro career could truly be.

Wiseman possesses an ability to run from end-to-end and use his athleticism and force to finish at the rim. Around the basket, he has a way of adroitly finishing around the hole with flexible grace for a big man. Then, there’s his ability to rebound with the best of them and finish on second-chance opportunities.

Wiseman is a young prospective big that has all the tools to impact the game at the pro level right now including his apt defensive ability. When he begins to develop a consistent mid-range game and a back to the basket report…he has an All-NBA future ahead of him.
