Markus Howard, PG, Marquette

Season: 27.8 PPG, 3.5 RPG, 3.3 APG, 42.2 FG%, 41.2 3P%, 84.7 FT%
Career: 21.6 PPG, 3.2 RPG, 3.1 APG, 44.4 FG%, 42.7 3P%, 88.2 FT%

Markus Howard is probably the last player in the NCAA you’d want to challenge to a game of H.O.R.S.E. After being one of the best scorers in the entire country in his junior season, Howard decided to return and even improved in his encore season.

Shooting is at a premium in the NBA, so I have no doubt he will find an opportunity somewhere with his elite perimeter scoring ability. A realistic ceiling for Howard could be an immediate sparkplug off the bench who could light up backup units.

However, if he struggles with adapting to a complimentary/bench role, he could also shoot his way out of the NBA.
