1. James Wisemen, Memphis

James Wisemen’s whole situation is quite unique. He played just three games for Memphis before being deemed ineligible by the NCAA. But despite his lack of playing time at the college level, Wiseman’s tools and size are very hard to ignore. First off, he’s an enormous 7-foot-1, with a 7-foot-6 wingspan.

Despite his large frame, Wiseman moves around very well. He has great agility and lateral quickness, while also showing the ability to get way above the rim and block shots. In just three games for the Tigers, Wiseman averaged 19.7 points and 10.7 rebounds while blocking three shots per contest. He also shot 76 percent from the field and even though it was through a small sample of games, it just shows how talented he really is on both sides of the ball.

Wiseman has so many different skills on the offensive end as well, showing enough athleticism to stretch the floor and drain a three or post up and hit a mid-range jumper. It’s not too often that you find a player of this size who can do so many different things on the court this well. He doesn’t move around like a 7-footer and there’s even room for him to add some more pounds onto his frame, which would make him even more unstoppable at the next level.

There’s going to be people who doubt that Wiseman didn’t play enough at the college level, but his illustrious high school career and loud skillset shouldn’t have any issue transferring over to the association. It’s up in the air right now if Wiseman or Anthony Edwards will go number one overall, but there is no question that the 7-foot-1 center will be a lottery pick this June.
