NBA Mock Draft: LaMelo Ball headlines a class of unknown prospects
27. New York Knicks (via LA Clippers) – Joel Ayayi, G, Gonzaga
The Knicks with another first-round pick could get creative at this point. Taking the best player available wouldn’t be a terrible move for the Knicks, who really need to just acquire talent. Joel Ayayi could be a solid prospect for the Knicks to take in.
Ayayi, during his sophomore season at Gonzaga, averaged 11 points and six rebounds on 48 percent shooting from the field and 35 percent from 3-point range.
28. Toronto Raptors – Jahmi’us Ramsey, G, Texas Tech
The Toronto Raptors don’t have any huge glaring needs on their roster and depth chart, but Jahmi’us Ramsey could be a solid pick for a team that just continues to compile talent. Ramsey is coming off a solid freshman season in which he averaged 15 points on 43 percent from 3-point range.
Ramsey might not see minutes right away but could develop behind this deep group of players.
