NBA Mock Draft: LaMelo Ball headlines a class of unknown prospects

29. LA Clippers – Theo Maledon, G, ASVEL

When the NBA Draft comes around, we could be looking back at the LA Clippers as the NBA champs. And as always is the case, there isn’t a huge need for the team moving forward. However, adding talent is something that the Clippers will pass up on.

Theo Maledon is a pretty big unknown, but will certainly draw some intrigue as we grow closer to the scheduled draft. He’s young and raw and will certainly need some development at the next level.

30. Boston Celtics (via Milwaukee) – Cassius Stanley, G, Duke

Another first-round pick for the Celtics. Yes, it would be extremely surprising if they make all of these selections. However, just for the sake of this article, let’s assume that Boston is going to make this pick to round out the first round of the 2020 NBA Draft.

Cassius Stanley is a solid prediction for this pick, as he’s a Duke product and has great potential if developed in the right organization.
