James Wiseman, Memphis

James Wiseman is the first player I’d like to mention here. Although he’s only played in three games for Memphis this NCAA season, there are signs that he could be the NBA’s next great center.

In his three games for the Tigers, Wiseman has been punishing his opponents on the offensive glass by going aggressively after rebounds. Due to his long arms, he’s able to reach the ball at incredible angles and heights, which makes him a great lob-thread and shot-blocker already.

His ability to dunk every ball that gets thrown towards the basket paired with his relentlessness to finish through contact makes him go to the free-throw line at a decent rate, where he hit about 70 percent of his attempts.

He could fill the void that Andrew Bogut left at center for good and be an outstanding fit next to the Splash Brothers, who would be able to open the paint up for him with their historic ability to shoot. He is the guy the Warriors should prioritize.
