The safe pick

Lastly, I shortly want to mention Anthony Edwards, arguably the best player in college basketball this season. He could be a great third scorer next to Curry and Thompson and a nice playmaker at times, but I question his fit with the Warriors as his shot selection has not always been great. He also tends to handle the ball quite a lot for Georgia, which is not the Warriors’ biggest need.

To conclude this rollercoaster of players, strengths, weaknesses, development, opportunities, and potential, we can make a single statement with certainty: For the first time in a long time, the Warriors have options to choose from.

Considering the moves that the front office has made since the Finals loss, I have faith that they will make the right decisions going forward. And maybe, once the 2020-21 season eventually comes around, we will speak of the Golden State Warriors as contenders again.
