And finally, the big man. Shaquille O’Neal. Shaq was a dominating force in the paint for the Los Angeles Lakers. After tearing up the hardwood at LSU, O’Neal made his presence known in the league early as a rookie with the Orlando Magic.

Subsequently, Shaq would team up with the late Kobe Bryant to win three NBA championships in 2000, 2001, and 2002. A marvelous feat that no other tandem has accomplished since then.

There are a couple of other players I didn’t mention. Jerry West, James Worthy, and Elgin Baylor. I would consider these guys as bench players. That’s just how deep a potential all-time Lakers team would be. It’s arguably the most historic franchise in NBA history.

That’s my all-time Lakers’ starting five. Who can run with us? No one. GAME OVER.
