2. Kyrie Irving, Cleveland Cavaliers (2011)
NBA career stats: 22.4 points, 5.7 assists, 3.7 rebounds, 47%FG
It might be a little controversial to place Kyrie Irving in the No. 2 spot, especially ahead of Zion Williamson, but you can’t deny Kyrie Irving’s natural talents (arguably the best handle in the game) and the historical impact he’s had in the game over the last few seasons.
He has (arguably) the second-most memorable shot in NBA Finals history and is set to create possibly the NBA’s newest super team in Brooklyn next season (along with Kevin Durant). Kyrie is still only 28 years old and could very well have many more memorable moments ahead of him.
His talent has never been denied and he’s one of the best scorers in the game. There are real questions about his leadership and about whether you can win with him as your No. 1 option. But, that’s neither here nor there. Kyrie is a superstar, whether you like him or not.
