Despite the number of big names on this list, I’m not sure anyone will argue with the fact that Anthony deserves the top spot as the best first overall draft pick over the last decade. Since breaking into the NBA, AD has been consistent, amazing on both ends of the floor, and continues to impress.

After spending his first seven seasons with the Pelicans, he was recently traded to the Los Angeles Lakers over the summer. He was slated to make his first deep postseason run of his career with LeBron James and the Lakers this season, which is a real shame considering there’s a growing chance that this season won’t be completed.

Over the last decade, Anthony Davis has proven to be the best top overall pick in the NBA Draft. This is not to say that he’s the best player to be drafted over the last 10 years, just that he’s proven to be the best top draft pick.
