Anthony Davis’ absence was devastating and LeBron willed his way to leading yet another series in points (33.5) and assists (8.0). But none of that should take away from a truly tremendous team in Milwaukee. They invested in the development of Giannis, surrounded him with the ideal supporting pieces, bought-in to the schematics of a terrific coach, and it has all finally paid off.

Despite two close games, the Bucks capitalized on a series that was never really in doubt. The Greek Freak led the charge every game and always had a right-hand man to positively contribute. Congratulations to the City of Milwaukee, Bucks fans, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and the rest of the Bucks franchise for winning the 2020 NBA Championship.

Hopefully, this journey offered a brief escape from our repetitive quarantined lives. We all cling to the possibility that the NBA season can return in some fashion and we can witness the above events unfold in front of our very eyes.

But if we are unlucky enough to where basketball does not return this year and 2019-20 becomes the lost NBA season, take solace and comfort in knowing that what we just experienced is exactly how it would have played out anyway.
