Entering the 2020 NBA offseason, whenever that will officially take place, the New York Knicks have three big questions to answer.

After missing out on Zion Williamson in the 2019 NBA Draft, and having to “settle” for RJ Barrett, the New York Knicks didn’t enter the 2019-20 NBA season with huge expectations. At the same time, there had to be some optimism from the front office after compiling a team during the summer than many thought would be respectable, if not competitive.

However, even after putting together what they believed to be a solid roster after missing out on Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving in free agency, the Knicks currently have the sixth-worst record in the middle of the league hiatus. In fact, they’re currently just 1.5 games back of having the second-worst record in the NBA.

It’s safe to say that the Knicks left much to be desired this season. Oh, and we didn’t even get to the part where they fired Dave Fizdale after just 22 games into his second season with the club.

So as the 2020 NBA offseason quickly approaches, we explore three of the biggest questions that the New York Knicks need to answer to clarify the team’s direction.
