Compiling an all-time starting lineup for the Indiana Pacers

As the NBA hiatus continues, everyone’s itching for anything that resembles basketball. In Indiana, that is even more so as basketball is very much a way of life in the Hoosier state.

Indiana loves Indiana Pacers and the Pacers love Indiana. The owner of the Pacers, Herb Simon, has kept the Pacers in Indianapolis when a lot of owners may have preferred a bigger market.

While the Pacers have never won an NBA Championship they have rewarded fans with three ABA championships, one of the greatest 3-point shooters to ever play the game, and some amazing teams.

On those teams, spanning from the 1960s to the 2010s, you can find great players in each era. While it is nearly impossible to compare players of different eras, this was my best effort to compile a list of an All-Time starting five for the Indiana Pacers.
