2. Kawhi Leonard/Paul George, LA Clippers

Combined stats: 48 points, 13 rebounds, nine assists

It’s no surprise to see the Kawhi Leanord and Paul George sitting at No. 2 on this list. They’re the heart and soul of the LA Clippers, who currently sits as the second seed in the Western Conference and quite possibly as the betting favorites to emerge from the conference and make it to the NBA Finals and ultimately win it.

Even though Kawhi and George are playing with each other for the first time in their careers, they’ve been a great fit together. Ultimately, this is a tandem that was always going to be graded by what they do in the postseason. Hopefully, they get that chance. They were well on their way to possibly taking this historically losing franchise to new heights, however.

What makes the Kawhi and George duo special is the fact that they can get it done on both ends of the floor on a consistent basis. They’re both above average, if not elite, on the defensive end and Kawhi has evolved into one of the best closers in the game.

If you have any reservations about what he can do, just as the Sixers and Golden State Warriors. They got a first-hand look last season in the postseason.
