In the latest edition of our NBA Mock Draft 2.0, the Washington Wizards land the No. 1 pick and the New York Knicks and Chicago Bulls jump into the top 3
In the middle of the 2019-20 NBA season hiatus, we decided to get a bit more creative in our NBA Mock Draft 2.0. With the NCAA Tournament canceled and pre-draft festivities pretty much in a freeze, there isn’t much movement around the top of most big boards. However, there could be in the coming weeks depending on what the NBA decides to do with its draft lottery.
As it currently stands, the Golden State Warriors, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Minnesota Timberwolves have the best chance at landing the No. 1 overall pick. Though, as is always the case, that’s not exactly a given. Because of the nature of the draft lottery, a team’s draft fortunes can change on any given moment – or, on any given bounce of the ping pong ball.
With that said and understood, we decided to shuffle around with Tankathon.com to simulate what we could expect to see on draft lottery night.
Just for fun, we hit the “sim lottery” button five times before landing on the draft order that we’ll move forward with during our NBA Mock Draft 2.0. Before getting to the actual mock draft, let’s take a look at how our final simulation went down.
