5. Terence Davis, SG, Toronto Raptors

Undrafted out of Ole Miss, Terence Davis signed a two-way deal with the Raps after playing for Denver in the NBA Summer League. Although the 22-year old’s numbers don’t jump off the page, he emerged as a key piece to Nick Nurse’s bench this year on one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference. The 6-foot-4 guard averaged 7.7 points and 3.4 boards in 17.7 minutes per contest this season while shooting a respectable 46 percent from the field and 40 percent from 3-point range.

Davis quickly proved his worth to this Raptors team by developing into an efficient scorer from all over the court. He was extremely productive all year long for Toronto, posting 21.7 points and 9.5 rebounds per 100 possessions, showing just how effective Davis was every time he was on the floor.

He clearly earned Nurse’s trust by playing a respectable amount of minutes per contest. Expect his role to be even more advanced when basketball does return, whether it’s this summer or later this year.
