Shooting guard: Jimmy Butler

Tim Hardaway obviously has longevity over Jimmy Butler, but Butler is the perfect guard compliment to Dwyane Wade for a multitude of reasons and an ideal leader to represent the Miami Heat culture.

Jimmy Butler may have only come to South Beach in the Summer of 2019, but his whole career has been building towards him leading a young Heat squad to glory as it seems he is on the path to doing. When Wade briefly played for his hometown Bulls, Butler was the star of the team who learned from Wade and formed a close friendship with him.

Butler is one of the best two-way stars in the NBA, having been a five-time all-star and four-time NBA All-Defensive Team member. He is known as one of the hardest-working players in the NBA overcoming insurmountable odds to make it. He has made the Miami Heat look like title contenders more than they have since LeBron went home in 2014, being the unquestioned leader of a group of young, hardworking players including all-star Bam Adebayo and the best rookie in the Eastern Conference Kendrick Nunn with a plethora of 3-point shooters like Tyler Herro, Meyers Leonard, and Duncan Robinson.
