Small forward: LeBron James

LeBron James on the Miami Heat was a different kind of beast than we’ve ever seen in the NBA before and will likely ever see again. While LeBron had his moments in his second Cavs stint, athleticism and epic games in his first and is currently tearing it up with the Lakers, the Miami Heat headband villain LeBron will always be his greatest iteration because of consistency, talent, and impact.

His combination of speed and power was incomprehensible with some of the most ridiculous dunks imaginable, and he had finally developed the jump shot that would put it all together allowing him to hit clutch 3’s and control every facet of the game.

When LeBron made his decision to join the Miami Heat with Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade in 2010, he instantly made the Heat the franchise everyone loved to hate. LeBron joining the Miami Heat created an entire era of player movement and featured one of the quickest superstar evolutions ever.

Until LeBron’s first title with the Heat, many believed he was overhyped consistently failing to live up to expectations and even “choking” on certain occasions in the playoffs. However, when it was time for LeBron to take over the Heat’s reins, he stepped up and helped lead Miami to two more NBA Championships.
