5. Tyrese Haliburton, G, Iowa State

Tyrese Haliburton is similar to Killian Hayes in that they are both go-to creators that are capable of carrying their team to victory with their scoring and facilitating. Haliburton has been very efficient with his shooting from deep, both off the dribble and off the catch. His playmaking is what makes him stand out among other guards.

Haliburton has great vision and seems to know where everyone is on the court. He has a tendency to settle for floaters and less than ideal inside shots that stems from a lack of physicality. His quick release and shot selection encourage me in terms of if he can become a good scorer and facilitator at the next level.

6. Obi Toppin, F, Dayton

Obi Toppin took the college basketball world by storm this season, winning almost every honor that can be bestowed upon individual players and leading the Dayton flyers to a top 3 ranking in the AP Top 25. Watching Toppin play in college, it’s evident that he is so much more physically dominant than the players around him. That does bring in questions though.

Toppin is 22 years old and that brings in the question of how much better can he get at the pro level. How high is his ceiling considering how mature he already is? I’m am someone who values tangibles rather than potential upside so Toppin is someone I really like if he is surrounded by shooters.
