In anticipation of the premiere and release of the first two parts of ‘The Last Dance,’ ESPN has released a five-minute preview to the documentary.
In a little more than 24 hours, we’re going to get our first real taste of ESPN’s ‘The Last Dance’ documentary that will be centered around Michael Jordan and the 1997-98 Chicago Bulls. The first two parts of a 10-part series will premiere on ESPN Sunday night (April 19) at 9:00 p.m.
Those same two parts will be released on Netflix for those that don’t have access to ESPN on Monday morning.
As the hype has continued to grow since the initial teaser was released a couple of months ago to the announcement that the release was going to be moved up to April 19, it seems it grew, even more, when a five-minute exclusive was released.

These five minutes give light to the relationship between the Bulls, Jerry Krause the team’s general manager at the moment, and Michael Jordan entering the final season of his career with the Bulls.
From the onset of the five-minute preview clip, it’s clear that there was clear tension within the organization and the team, specifically Michael, heading into that “last dance.” We also get a glimpse into the Phil Jackson equation a bit, who will almost certainly be a big part of the series.
If nothing else, this five-minute clip will leave you wanting more. Thankfully, we’re going to get our thirst quenched soon enough as the first two parts are expected to be released.
This documentary has the potential to be one of the most iconic moments in sports history. We’re going to get unprecedented access to Jordan’s final season with the Bulls. There will almost certainly be a number of interesting tidbits and revelations to be uncovered throughout this 10-part series.
Get ready, for Bulls fans and even just casual basketball fans, ‘The Last Dance’ has the chance to be one of the most iconic entertainment projects in a very long time.
