Honorable mentions

Bam Adebayo, 2017, 14th overall – The only reason why Bam Adebayo would be considered an honorable mention is that we still haven’t even begun to see the player that he can be. We know, based on his overall skill set and physical traits, that his ceiling is high but I can’t help but think that we need to see a bit more to consider him one of the biggest steals of the last decade. He’s off to one great start, however.

Before the hiatus, Bam was named to his first all-star game and was nearly averaging a triple-double (16 points, 11 rebounds, five assists) in just his first full year as a starter. He was one heck of a find for the Miami Heat, at 14, in the 2017 NBA Draft.

Donovan Mitchell, 2017, 13th overall – Donovan Mitchell is another player that is well on his way to being considered one of the biggest steals of the draft in the last decade. Although, there’s still much he has to prove. Averaging 24 points, four rebounds, and four assists, there’s no question that Mitchell is well on his way to stardom.

Because of this, the Utah Jazz is in great hands for the foreseeable future.

Devin Booker, 2015, 13th overall – Devin Booker also falls into the list of still having to prove a bit more. However, he’s well on his way to superstardom and continues to impress on multiple levels. Booker is still adding to his game and the best is yet to come for the young guard.
