10. Malcolm Brogdon, 2016, 36th overall

Malcolm Brogdon was the 36th overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft by the Milwaukee Bucks. Despite being a second-round pick, he was mightily impressive during his rookie season with the Bucks and even found his way to a part-time starting role.

Brogdon became the NBA’s first second-round pick to win the league’s Rookie of the Year award since 1965. There’s a very good chance that he’s the last second-round pick to win the award too. The way the NBA Draft is structured, that’s extremely rare.

Brogdon continued to impress throughout his three years in Milwaukee, leading to him inking a huge four-year, $85 million deal with the Indiana Pacers during the offseason. He’s now a huge part of the Pacers and was having a great season before the NBA’s hiatus.

Brogdon represents one of the best NBA underdog stories in recent history and has a long, productive career in front of him.
