Summary: The New York Knicks opt not to star chase in free agency and work on maximizing their youth. By removing a guy like Julius Randle who stops the offense a bit and replacing him with a veteran like Chris Paul the Knicks should be able to run smoother on that side of the ball. Chris Paul is just what the Knicks need and he proved what he could do with the Thunder on the court by putting them in the playoffs in a tough conference while bonding with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander off the court as a bit of a mentor.

Paul should find guys like Knox and Robinson in better spots while providing a mentor for Frank Ntilikina and draft pick Killian Hayes. Tom Thibodeau adds a bit of credibility to the team as well and the ball movement should be natural with Dario Saric being added.

Enes Kanter loved his stay in New York and without much cap space going around this offseason, the Knicks get to steal him for the Cap MLE. The Knicks could be a sneaky good team with this set up with a worst-case of having a more natural fitting team to rebuild with.
