Summary: The Milwaukee Bucks have most likely the best head coach in the East with Mike Budenholzer and the best individual player in the East in Giannis. There isn’t a ton of roster tweaking necessary as maintaining the chemistry trumps most of the trades they could make.
Having said that, Justin Holiday is a great addition as a guy who did very well shooting 3’s and defending multiple positions in 2019-20. They also give Budenholzer another young guy on the wing by swapping Wilson for Nickeil Alexander-Walker. Walker’s potential could be a great fit off their bench.
In the draft, they take Theo Maledon in hopes he could develop into a Malcolm Brogdon type of guy in their second unit which if that works out would likely allow the Bucks to see if they could turn George Hill into another piece at the deadline. The Bucks’ biggest goal is to win in 2020-21 so Giannis decides to remain there and their best bet in doing so is by keeping their team intact and add some pieces with the resources they have to continue to grow off of a great 2019-20 season.
The trade market/value for their guys probably doesn’t warrant breaking up a roster that seems to work.
