He has shown the ability to do everything on both ends of the floor

Zion may have risen to internet stardom thanks in large part due to his ability to dunk at an absurd level for a teenager, but has a full offensive repertoire – including his emerging 3-point jumper that seemed to work through 19 games during his rookie season. There’s still plenty more we’d like to see from Zion in that department, but he’s proven that he’s a prospect that has the ability to do it all on the floor.

He can drive to the basket aggressively, is predictably a great finisher, and is a better playmaker than he gets credit for – he only averaged two assists during his rookie season but is an above-average distributor.

On the defensive end, he has all the potential in the world. In college, he averaged two blocks and two steals per game. He has the athleticism and size to be a versatile defender in the NBA and, if he puts in the effort, could even evolve into an all-NBA defender.

There are no limits on the player that Zion can be, and that’s very much evident in what he’s proven he can do on the basketball floor. Now that he’ll have a full offseason and training camp with NBA-level training and facilities, there’s no question that he’s only going to get better.
