A way-too-early redraft of the 2017 NBA Draft

We’re nearly three years removed now from the 2017 NBA Draft, but it’s become clear early in these players’ careers that this is one of the deeper draft classes in recent history.

This draft was hyped up as a heavy guard class with a dearth of talented big men. And while the guards definitely have lived up to the hype, there’s been a number of big fellas who have exceeded everyone’s expectations in their first three NBA seasons.

For the sake of the redraft, we’ll be drafting for the teams that owned the pick on the night of the draft, meaning any trades made after the selection won’t be considered. For example, the Minnesota Timberwolves still own the seventh pick, the Sacramento Kings have the 10th pick, and the Denver Nuggets keep the 13th pick.

Without further ado, let’s get to the redrafting of the 2017 NBA Draft.
