LA Clippers

By the summer of 2021, there’s a chance that the LA Clippers could be two-time, back-to-back NBA champions. The last thing any basketball fan wants to see is less parity and the rich getting richer. That’s exactly what could happen if the Clippers carve up enough cap space during the summer of 2021 to make a run at Giannis.

In the event that the 2019-20 NBA season resumes, the Clippers will be one of the three favorites to win the championship. That will very much still be the case next season, assuming Paul George and Kawhi Leonard remain healthy.

The Clippers, after even just winning one of the next two championships, signing Giannis would exude huge 2016 Warriors vibes. If you can remember, the 2016-2019 Warriors were one of the most hated teams in recent history.

Giannis should absolutely not sign with the Clippers.
