New York Knicks

Ah, last but certainly not least. Giannis should absolutely not sign with the New York Knicks. Not because it wouldn’t be a great story, but because I’m not confident that the front office would make smart decisions is surrounding him with the adequate talent to win an NBA Championship.

Even though he would automatically make the Knicks a championship contender in the East, and as great as it would be to see New York sitting atop the league again, I’m not willing to bet on Giannis’ prime.

The Knicks would be extremely popular, but for the sake of looking out for Giannis I’m not sure this ownership and front office would be ready for such a superstar on their roster.

In the end, Giannis Antetokounmpo will probably re-sign with the Bucks. He’s said all the right things and Milwaukee is extremely close to winning a championship. Although, if he does test free agency, here’s to hoping his move will bring a breath of fresh air to the NBA.
