22. Philadelphia 76ers (via OKC) – Nico Mannion, G, Arizona
You can make the case for other needs on the Philadelphia 76ers roster, but adding Nico Mannion at No. 22 could be viewed as somewhat of a steal. During his freshman season at Arizona, Mannion averaged 14 points and five assists per game. Where he left much to be desired is in his shooting percentages.
He only shot 39 percent from the field overall and averaged almost three turnovers per game. Despite that, he proved to be a good playmaker and that’s something the Sixers could use. Even though they have Ben Simmons at the point guard position, they could use some depth.
Mannion has good size for a lead guard and is still growing as a player. He’s also a better athlete than he gets credit for. He would give the Sixers added depth in the backcourt, especially heading into an offseason in which they could see some major changes.
