With the possibility of the NBA regular season being over after 65 games for Indiana, let’s rank the players of the Indiana Pacers for the 2019-20 NBA season.

The last NBA game was played on March 11, 2020. Just about two months ago. As I write this, it has been 61 days since we have been able to watch a live basketball game. And as it stands it is looking more and more likely that if and when the NBA returns, it will start right up with the playoffs.

So with the very real possibility that the 2019-20 regular reason has concluded, let’s take a look at the Indiana Pacers and rank each player based on the season they posted for the 2019-2020 season.

15. Alize Johnson, forward

Coming in at number 15 is Alize Johnson. The 6-foot-7 power forward did not get a lot of shake in 2019-20, appearing in only 13 games this season. Most of these appearances came at the end of blowout wins/losses, as Johnson only played 4.2 minutes per game in games he appeared in.

In the games he did appear in, Johnson averaged 1.4 points, 1.2 rebounds, and 0.2 assists per game while shooting 47 percent from the field and 67 percent from the free-throw line, and a PER (Player Efficiency Rating) of 10.8.

While these are not eye-popping numbers by any stretch, Johnson consistently puts up great numbers for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, the Pacers affiliate G League team. In G League games in 2019-20, Johnson is averaging 20 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists per game on 52-34-63 shooting splits. Tremendous numbers to be putting up on a night to night basis.

So while he is not getting a lot of run with the Pacers, for the time being, there is certainly something there with Johnson, and if he is able to put it all together the future could be bright in Indiana for this young man.
