Michael was willing to continue playing

As the documentary comes to a conclusion, Michael reveals he would’ve signed a one-year deal to try and win a seventh championship. However, that scenario never did happen. Instead, the Bulls elected it was time to rebuild. Interestingly enough, something they’re still trying to do right now.

Who knows what happens if Michael signs another deal with Chicago. He retired the second time when he was 35, so there are no guarantees that he and the Bulls would’ve been able to continue the run. Maybe his game begins to take a slip. However, there’s no question that he was still on top of his game when he retired.

Perhaps we would’ve seen a Jordan vs. Tim Duncan NBA Finals. Or even a Jordan vs. Kob Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal matchup. The possibilities are endless. We’ll never know, however. And maybe it’s better that way.
