Phil Jackson – winner

Rising up the coaching ranks as an assistant with the New Jersey Nets in 1978 to the eventual headman of the Bulls team in 1989, Jackson’s triangle offense allowed Michael Jordan to evolve as a scorer and playmaker within the flow of a set.

The league saw Jordan thrive as an offensive juggernaut with the ball in his hand, but saw his play take another level up as a playmaker within an offensive gameplan. His ability to facilitate and move without the basketball allowed Chicago to debunk the Piston’s the year they won their first championship.

After that, they never lost a beat in the 1990s with MJ being the conductor in Jackson’s revolutionary offensive attack. There’s no question Jackson’s presence in this documentary left fans wanting to know more about his coaching career. And we might just get that in the not-too-distant-future.
