Steve Kerr – winner

One of the few Bulls teammates to stand-up to Jordan’s dictator leadership, Steve Kerr cemented himself as the linchpin in Chicago’s three-peat. Serving as the complementary floor spacer and shooter that his precursor John Paxson was, Steve made his mark in the final two playoff appearances with the Bulls.

His clutch jumper versus the Utah Jazz in Game 6 of the NBA Finals allowed Chicago to repeat as champions. Crucial minutes in Game 7 off the bench versus the Indiana Pacers in the 1998 Conference Finals also provided a deciding Bulls victory. In 18 minutes versus the Pacers, Kerr had 11 points including the tying basket from three with around six minutes to go that jump-started a game-sealing 14-6 run to return back to the Finals.

Whether people knew it or not, Kerr was the ultimate unsung hero in the documentary and during the Bulls second three-peat.
