4. The Fall Of The New York Knicks

Since the 2001-02 NBA season, the New York Knicks have only made the playoffs four times. Over that span, the team has only won at least 40 games twice and has missed the playoffs a grand total of 15 times. Currently, they’re in the midst of a six-year playoff drought. To make matters worst, there appears to be no real end in sight.

However, from the late1960s through the 1990s, the Knicks were one of the premier NBA franchises and one of the most successful ones. In the 30-plus years before their recent downfall, the Knicks won two NBA championships, made the NBA Finals five times, and made the Eastern Conference Finals 10 times.

Then, it all changed. In the last 19 years, the Knicks only have one playoff series victory. Over the past two decades, many have been quick to blame the fall of the Knicks on James Dolan, the team’s owner. Though, an in-depth look at what has gone wrong for the team would be one of the most interesting pieces in recent NBA history.

If done the right way, a Knicks documentary would do monster ratings.
