Golden State Warriors trade target: Jrue Holiday

Warriors get: Jrue Holiday, JJ Redick

Pelicans get: Andrew Wiggins, Kevon Looney, Jordan Poole, 2020 first-round pick

Another valuable player that will likely find himself on the trade block once again is Jrue Holiday. While he’s still a relatively young player in the midst of his prime, he doesn’t exactly fit into the New Orleans Pelicans‘ timeline – and that’s OK. New Orleans is set up to have a bright future, and that probably doesn’t include Holiday.

With the 2020-21 season possibly being his last season before he tests free agency, the chance of him being traded during the offseason should be high. If nothing else, the Pelicans will weigh their options. And that could include getting a package from the Warriors that would be centered around Andrew Wiggins and their 2020 first-round draft pick.

In return, the Warriors would get Holiday and JJ Redick. Both players would add crazy depth to their backcourt. Holiday and Klay Thompson are versatile enough where they could both start alongside each other as one would slide to the small forward position on defensive assignments.
