All-time fictional character basketball team: Michael Jordan headlines the roster
Center: Neon Boudeaux, Blue Chips
We’ve already seen that Neon can play alongside other top talent. His Western University team was stacked with an upperclassman involved in a point-shaving scandal named Tony, suburban freshman Ricky Roe and scoring threat Butch McCrae. (Penny Hardaway).
Just like on his college squad, Neon by far is the most dominant force on this team. You never have to run a play for him. Just throw the ball toward the basket, and he’ll find a way to complete the alley-oop. He can play with his back to the basket, and his post-up game requires a double-team every time.
Let’s also not forget that he’s used to being the center of attention.
Power forward: Scott Howard, Teen Wolf
This pick was a gamble. There’s always the chance that the Teen Wolf doesn’t show up to play. Instead you’re stuck with an undersized high school kid that could barely make the J.V. team. Having said that, Teen Wolf always had a knack for the big moment. He knows when it’s game time.
No one in their right mind would want to battle Teen Wolf for a rebound. Add that to his inability to run out of gas, and you have a player that’s nearly unstoppable.
