Shooting guard: Jesus Shuttlesworth, He Got Game

Billy Hoyle can shoot the lights out, but his personality just wouldn’t mesh well with this group. It would only be a matter of time before his trash-talking landed him a black eye courtesy of Michael Jordan. Shuttlesworth is a much better option.

Jesus Shuttlesworth was fearless. He destroyed the competition, no matter who he went up against. Any guy that is willing to hand his own dad the type of L that Jesus gave Jake Shuttlesworth has a spot on my team.

On this all-time roster, Jesus would be the shooter. He isn’t the greatest defender, but his pure jump shot certainly makes up for it.

Point guard: Monica Wright, Love & Basketball

Zach Morris from Bayside High was in the running for the point guard spot, but he’s way too injury prone.

Monica, on the other hand, is always ready to go. She has a resilient style of play. Her USC coach had a motto that, “Point guards lead from the front, not the back.” Monica lives up to that on both ends of the floor.

She’s a walking bucket on offense, and she isn’t afraid to step in and take a charge. What you really have to love about her game is the ability to put it all on the line when it counts.
