NBA idea No. 3: Regular season resumes

The good: While we wouldn’t know the amount of games teams would play to complete the regular season, having the season pick back up in regular league play would bode well for all parties. A sense of normalcy will resume, and teams primed for a playoff push would get the requisite in-game pre-playoff preparation for postseason play.

Even the team’s outside of the playoffs but on the cusp of a playoff run could utilize their urgency and desire to catch a prime playoff lower seed slipping and usurp them in the standings.

The bad: While NBA resuming is good for big business and the athletes involved, the objective should still be to conduct current league play in the swiftest and safest manner. Getting in and out of playoff play as quickly as possible to avoid potential health hazards is the ultimate idea.
