Golden State Warriors key No. 3: Finding more bench help

The last thing I believe the Warriors need is just to find a bit more bench help, and shooting. That could come from either inside the organization or from the outside.

Eric Paschall has been a great find for the Warriors this year with his all-around play, but he still needs to improve his shooting touch. Jordan Poole was the team’s first-round pick but he’s going to need to make serious strides to help the team contend. Then, there’s still an opportunity for Kevon Looney to bounce back to the potential he showed in the 2019 NBA Finals.

Then there are players like Ky Bowman, Damion Lee, and Chasson Randle who are all fringe players but have the potential to make an impact in limited roles.

Outside the Warriors could make some smart targets, whether that be in the second round of the draft, free agency, or trade. Maybe trying to strike a trade for young fliers with upside, or signing a veteran to a minimum deal.
