12. Sacramento Kings – Tyrese Maxey, SG, Kentucky

Are back-to-back Tyreses being taken in the 2020 NBA Draft? It could happen the way the board has fallen. The Sacramento Kings are another team that you can’t quite predict when it comes to the NBA Draft. With that said, Tyrese Maxey is an excellent option for the team.

He’s a player that didn’t exactly show off all his skills during his freshman season at Kentucky but comes with plenty of potential as a two-way player. He’s a scrappy defender, despite his 6-foot-3 frame, and a better offensive player than he gets credit for.

You can make the case that Maxey doesn’t fit on the Kings considering they’re loaded in the backcourt, but with the uncertainty that surrounds the backcourt it would make sense for the Kings to add to the position at the draft.
