21. Denver Nuggets (via Houston) – Saddiq Bey, F, Villanova

As one of the best shooters in the 2020 NBA Draft, it’s likely that Saddiq Bey won’t make it out of the top 20 if he remains in the draft. With that said, there are certain barriers that keep him out of the lottery. At the top of the list, there remain concerns about his athleticism and his ability to make the transition from college to pro.

Obviously, Bey is a great 3-point shooter. His size and length also likely make him a solid two-way player. However, he isn’t a great athlete and not a great shot-creator. That could translate to him struggling at the NBA level.

Bey could be considered a solid 3-and-D selection for the Denver Nuggets at this point in the draft. Make no mistake, there is plenty to love about this possible selection. At the same rate, there are legit concerns about his potential as anything above “rotational piece.”
