25. Oklahoma City Thunder (via Denver) – Jahmi’us Ramsey, SG, Texas Tech

The Oklahoma City Thunder emerged as one of the biggest surprises in the Western Conference this season. However, if there’s one area of need, it’s at the shooting guard position – especially if the team isn’t interested in extending Dennis Schroder (if he becomes too expensive when he hits free agency next offseason).

With the No. 25 pick, the Thunder could address the position by selecting Jahmi’us Ramsey out of Texas Tech. Ramsey has good size and is a good overall offensive player. Question is, will that good offensive repertoire translate to the NBA?

There are small aspects to his game that might scare away draft scouts, which is a big reason why he could be taken late in the first and instead of closer to the lottery. Ramsey is a solid talent that could blossom in the right system.

Perhaps OKC is just what Ramsey needs.
