27. New York Knicks (via Los Angeles) – Tyler Bey, F, Colorado

After selecting Killian Hayes with the second pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, it would be wise for the Knicks to select a frontcourt player with their late first-round draft pick. That’s exactly what Tyler Bey would represent at this point in the draft.

Bey has certainly grown during his three years in Colorado. His career at Colorado culminated by averaging 14 points and nine rebounds per game on 53 percent shooting from the field and 42 percent shooting from 3-point range.

Bey is a good defender and an above-average passer, something that could come in handy as he makes the jump to the NBA. Bey is the type of player that could end up being really good in a few years, but he needs to land in the right situation. If New York is smart about his progression, he might be one of the biggest gems at this point in the draft.
