Three Toronto Raptors that have the most to prove when the season resumes

With the NBA season set to resume on July 30th in Orlando, it’s time to look at players who have the most to prove as the NBA returns. There is no better team to start with than the defending NBA champions, the Toronto Raptors.

The Raptors have had a great season despite the departures of Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green last offseason. They currently have the third-best record in the league at 46-18 since the league standings were frozen on March 11th.

Not to mention they have officially clinched a playoff spot and they were in prime position to go on a deep playoff run to defend their championship. The best part of the Raptors season has been how the team has had so much success despite being hit with a multitude of injuries to key players.

With the league set to resume play the Raptors will finally be healthy and ready to continue their great season. However, with players returning and expectations sky high there are still players on the team who have a lot to prove as the Raptors continue their quest to defend the Larry O’Brien Trophy.
