NBA storyline No. 2: Will The King regain his thrown?

Remember how I said all those reruns of LeBron James’s epic 2016 NBA finals run were pretty much shoved down our throats for the last month or so for lack of content? Yeah, well that’s because for one LeBron James is arguably one of the greatest of all time and two he broke the record books by overcoming a 3-1 deficit in that 2016 finals appearance.

And that’s not even mentioning his opponent was one of the greatest dynasties this generation has ever seen in the Golden State Warriors. Anyways, garnering accolades such as eight straight finals appearances and passing all-time greats in the career scoring department has nothing on what he can possibly accomplish this postseason. This is, without a doubt, his best chance at a title. He’s motivated due to being consciously aware father time is on his heels and still undefeated.

He’s got the ultimate side-kick in Anthony Davis and other competent pieces like Danny Green, Rajon Rondo, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. Oh, did I mention that he’s been cooped up in a house for three months? So, he’s about as healthy as he’s ever been at this stage of a season. That can be dangerous for the rest of the league. Can they keep up, or will the King regain his thrown on his way to his fourth championship?
