10 predictions for the NBA’s restart

The NBA is slated to resume games on July 30. In the weeks leading up to that day, the league will slowly ramp up the player and team training. Adam Silver and the league has made it quite clear that they’re going to at least try and resume play. Whether the plan succeeds or not depends on many things.

Nevertheless, as the league inches closer to a restart, there are plenty of storylines that revolve around basketball. Can LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers pick up where they left off when the hiatus hit? Will no homecourt advantage play any factor in the playoffs? Will Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks run through the Eastern Conference?

Will there be a dark horse team in the East or West that will surprise the masses by breaking through? Have the Philadelphia 76ers finally fixed their chemistry issues?

As the NBA inches closer to a return, and with the league releasing the early schedule, we couldn’t help but feel excited about talking basketball again. Here are 10 predictions for the league’s restart.
