NBA prediction No. 1: The Philadelphia 76ers will look…better

This is not exactly a news breaker, but I believe that we’ll see a better Philadelphia 76ers team. Assuming health, I believe the bubble might do wonders for this Sixers team. They won’t be at much of a disadvantage because every team will essentially be a road team and they’ll be able to just play basketball.

Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid, Tobias Harris, and Josh Richardson could prove to be too much talent for many teams in the East. Or, at least, that’s what they’re ceiling is. The Sixers’ talent has never been questioned. For this team, it has always been about maturity, continuity, and chemistry. If Brett Brown can hit the right notes, there’s no question that the Sixers will be a tough out in the East.

If the Sixers can avoid the Bucks in the second round, this is a team that could make a run to the conference finals. Once they get there, and if they can slow down Giannis (they certainly have the perimeter defenders to do so), all bets are off.

If the Sixers look like a different team when play resumes, watch out.
